On Romance as a Genre

This is another 5 reasons I get annoyed with a specific genre, this time its Romance.

5) boy meets girl, falls in love, fall out of love, somehow get together again and live happily ever after.

uh wrong, human relationships are more complicated than that.

4)Damsel in distress….really no, not gonna happen if the heroine is a strong-willed person

3)Unconditional love is hard for the human species to obtain, they have to be really selfless and forgiving type.

2)Knight in shining armor syndrome

1) Mandatory happily ever after, I am alright with a satisfactory ending, not necessarily a happily ever after.

Recovery…

I apologize for the Hiatus.  I had Testicular Cancer and has to have the diseased one removed.  It was done outpatient and I am quietly recovering from it and hopefully forming ideas for future posts.
